Q. Can I apply at a store?
A. Applications are only taken online. When you apply online, your application is sent straight to our Recruiting department. This allows the Recruiters to start the process as soon as you submit the application. If you are unable to apply online, contact us at 815-387-1700 and ask for one of our recruiters who will be happy to assist you in the application process.
Q. I applied online, now what happens?
A. Your application is sent directly to our Recruiting department. Your application will be given to the Recruiter assigned to your city and state, who will begin the review process.
Q. How do I check on the status of my application?
A. It does take time to review each application that we receive. However, if you have not heard back from us through an e-mail, you can call 815-387-1700 and ask for the recruiting department.
Q. Do I have to start as a cashier to become a manager?
A. No. Road Ranger does promote from within, but many times we find a qualified candidate for a Manager position from outside the company. If you have retail experience and would like to apply for a management position, please apply for our M.I.T. Program.
Q. I have other commitments outside of work (ex: classes or another job). Can I be scheduled around this?
A. Road Ranger is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This allows us to accommodate differing schedules and you to have some flexibility with your schedule.

Q. How much will I get paid?
A. Wages, which vary depending upon position and location, will be discussed in the interview process.
